Permits for Local Authority Grounds (Update)
It has been circulated that for all future permit bookings for Local grounds, whose permits were collected from the Lido, are now to be directed to Miss Sarah Thomas, on 01639 686147 (Tel) or 01639 686110 (fax)., who will make the booking. The council will then invoice the club for payment.

FAW long service award
The President of the Port Talbot League, Mr John P Morgan?was tonight (17th April) the recipient of an FAW Long Service Award, for his services to football over the last 40plus years as a Referee and local football administrator. The award was made by FAW Councillor, Mr J. Phillips, at the Port Talbot Referees Society Meeting, held at the Grove Park.

Mr Len Howells

Mr Len Howells, who recently stood down as President of the Port Talbot and District League, was presented with a gift to mark his long and distinguished service to local football over the last 50 plus years. He was honoured at a recent Referees Society evening in front of League Officers, Local Referees and other guests who were present. The President of the League Mr J.P. Morgan made the presentation, and thanked Len for his contribution over such a sustained period. He also wished him a full recovery from his recent illness.
